Contemporary is an extremely artistic style of dance. It is a fusion of ballet, jazz, and modern dance, and usually contains an emotional journey, or story. There is a lot of creative freedom when it comes to contemporary dance.
Acrobatics is a style of dance that combines traditional dance techniques as well as athletic acrobatic elements. Its unique choreography seamlessly blends artistic dance movement and tricks together. Acro is a challenging dance style and takes a lot of strength and persistence to excel. This style is becoming very popular in the competitive dance world as well as the professional.
Musical Theatre Classes are about building confidence through movement, acting and singing. It has been developed to build the skills necessary to communicate the dramatic content of musical text over a range of musical styles/categories. Students will build on voice, diction, movement, setting and staging, and musicality.
THIP HOP IS A HIGH-ENERGY CLASS THAT INFUSES THE LATEST STYLES OF STREET DANCING, BREAKING, POPPING, AND LOCKING. CLASSES WILL ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO STEP OUTSIDE OF THE BOX BY BRINGING THEIR OWN INDIVIDUAL STYLE AND PERSONALITY TO THE MOVEMENTS. HIP HOP DANCE REQUIRES STUDENTS TO HAVE THE STRENGTH AND STAMINA TO SUCCESSFULLY PERFORM MOVES. THEREFORE, CLASS INCLUDES UPPER AND LOWER BODY CONDITIONING AS WELL AS A RIGOROUS WARM-UP TO HELP PREPARE STUDENTS FOR MORE INTENSE MOVEMENT

eaps and Turns
leaps and Turns is a class created for the serious dancer who wishes to give extra attention to improving their technique. This class will focus on the proper execution of basic - advanced leaps and turns and will include leap combinations and turn sequences.
