Ms. Rachel Yuter
Rachel Yuter did not start dancing until she was 13 years old, but fell in love with it immediately. Born and raised in Southern California, she spent her teenage years competitively training at her local studio in a plethora of styles in including Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary,
Acrobatics, Ballroom, and Hip Hop.
She has had featured roles in numerous amount of shows, including the SugarPlum Fairy in the Nutcracker and Gabriella in the production of High School Musical. She graduated from Chapman University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance Performance as well as a Business
Communication degree. She has had the privilege of working closely and training under world-renowned teachers and choreographers, including Desmond Richardson, William Johnston, Jaci Royal, and Wilson Mendieta.
Rachel was crowned the title of Miss Dance of America Southern California in 2015 and received the award for Outstanding Student Choreography at Chapman University. Rachel has performed in numerous live performances and films including Entity Contemporary Dance Work “Transparent/See”, Flash Mob America, Club Jeté, and the McCallum Choreography Festival. She
has also co-produced her own video series entitled Yuter Vision. Along with her love of performance, Rachel discovered her talent and passion for teaching at a young age. While balancing school, Rachel took on the role of Artistic Director and Choreographer for the
Traveling Troupe at Performing Arts Empire and has choreographed numerous amount of award-winning pieces.
Her enthusiasm for dance shines through while teaching as she shares her passion with
students and gets them active and involved. Rachel is so excited to be a part of the Fusion Family and can’t wait to inspire and educate her students!
