Lauren was a lifelong resident of Kissimmee, FL before relocating to New Port Richey, Florida to continue her pursuit of a Royal Academy of Dance education and career.

Lauren was introduced to the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus at the age of 5 and she earned Distinctions on her examinations up to the vocational level Advanced 1. She’s a graduate from the Osceola County School of the Arts, where she studied academics and dance for seven years.

During her education, she attended several dance festivals in Miami, FL and Norfolk, Virginia, where she was offered training opportunities with American Ballet Theatre, Joffery Ballet, Virginia School of the Arts, and the New World School. Lauren has trained with Orlando Ballet and University of South Carolina during the summers.

Before high school graduation, Lauren received her Associates of Arts degree by dual enrolling with the local community college. She attended Florida Southern College, where Lauren earned her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Management at the age of 20.

During her undergraduate degree, she was also completing her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies program with the Royal Academy of Dance under the mentorship of Gillian Davis, which she completed in November 2014 as the youngest USA student to earn her Registered Teacher Status. She was teaching for Gillian Davis to earn experience teaching RAD ballet classes, tap, jazz, lyrical, and choreography

In 2014, Lauren got her certification with American Aerobic Fitness Association in group exercise and yoga. She had the opportunity of teaching mathematics at the middle school level and 9th grade Algebra 1 level at a private school located in New Port Richey, FL immediately after college.

Lauren will be receiving her Masters in Business Administration in the Fall 2018. She can’t wait to share her love of dance to her students.  Return to Staff page
